What is Sanctum?

Sanctum Custom Jewellery Design is a New Zealand registered company based in Auckland. Our jewellery is pure and exclusive owing to its exceptionally high quality diamonds, gemstones and metals, each piece designed and made to order uniquely for you by New Zealand's best. We do not produce jewellery in silver or other lower grade metals, or use simulated gemstones or diamonds.
Who is Sanctum?
Sanctum was created by Robb Armstrong. Robb has worked in arts and crafts and design for most of his life, including stained glass, sandblasted glass, furniture refinishing, print design, web design, animation, and during the last twelve years, in product and jewellery design using CAD.
Robb maintains a close professional network including some of New Zealand's most respected master jewellers, jewellery designers, diamond setters and CAD designers.

What are your Design Fees?
We offer a free design consultation, after which you may choose to have us produce a unique piece for you. The first step of this process is for us to create a custom design, on paper, of your engagement ring, wedding ring, eternity ring, or other item. In order to proceed to this stage, we ask for a $NZ 190 fee. This fee will be deducted from the final price of your finished item.
Can I Come in and Try On Some of Your Rings?
We are an online jeweller, and therefore hold no stock. Each ring is made to order for each client. However, you can meet with us in person in Auckland or Wellington to discuss your design requirements at our production premises.
Who Will Make my Jewellery?
We work with several of New Zealand's leading manufacturing jewellers, who each have over three decades experience in the trade. We also work with New Zealand's leading diamond setters. We choose only manufacturers and setters who can meet our high standards of quality.
How Long Will it Take to Make my Ring?
It usually takes around 10 working days to deliver a ring once the design is finalised.
